URBANIK PRODUCTIONS
Paul and Pauline Joseph met during their dance training, at the world renowned London Contemporary Dance School in 1988. On graduating, they performed with various dance companies in Europe and the UK.
By the early 90’s, the couple moved back to Pauline’s home town of Glasgow, where they set up their own dance company, Kultyer Dance Theatre. Paul and Pauline (aka P&P) were the first Scottish based artists to merge their contemporary training with urban dance, creating and leading the way, north of the border, in street dance fusion.
Having toured their productions to Europe, North America and Australia, they decided to focus on teaching and training others, which inspired them to set up URBANIKS STREET SKOOL OF DANCE. Their popular Street Skool caters for pupils age 3 to adults, with waiting lists in most classes; especially the boys only groups.
As well as running and teaching all the classes at the Street Skool, P&P are very much in demand as choreographers. Their production company: URBANIK PRODUCTIONS, work in the fields of stage productions, corporate events, gymnastic display teams, wedding dances and TV ( currently working on two new sitcoms for the BBC and The Comedy Unit).
P&P believe that their best productions to date are their three amazing children, with a fourth member due later this year!
